The diamond will be on display in Dubai from March 26 to 29, in Taipei from April 29 to May 1 and at Rockefeller Plaza in New York. It will finally air in Geneva from May 6 to May 11. There, Christie’s will auction off Hirati through a special event.
Rahul Kadakiya, an official at Christie’s, told the Associated Press that “The Rock” will be one of the most famous diamonds auctioned by the company since the 18th century. We believe it will attract the world’s largest diamond collectors. ” The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has classified this hirati as the size of an adult’s thumb. The Rock is the largest diamond ever tested by the GIA in their laboratory.
