Explosions echoed in Erbil city of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG). Umit Hosnav, the Governor of the city of Erbil of the KRG, announced that a large number of missiles fell on the city of Erbil. Stating that the missiles fell near the US Consulate building in Erbil, Hoşnav noted that it was unclear whether the target of the attack was the US Consulate or the airport in the city.
