A photo of a Russian fighter allegedly shot down over the Donbass by Ukrainian air defenses published in some publications was actually taken almost 30 years ago in the sky over Britain, the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) reported .
Recall that the photograph of the plane “downed” on February 24 was published by both Bulgarian and other Western publications. A number of them claimed that they were photographs taken by Ukrainian troops.
During the verification process, BNR officers discovered that photographs of the burning aircraft had already been used “hundreds of times”
