Death threats arrive at the Russian embassy in the Netherlands

Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands Alexander Shulgin said that the diplomatic department received letters with threats of physical violence.
“Now letters with threats of physical violence are coming not only (to) diplomatic employees, but also family members,” he said on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
Earlier, the former President of the Czech Republic (2003-2013) Vaclav Klaus condemned the manifestations of Russophobia in the light of the events in Ukraine. He said he was refusing to respond to calls to return his 2007 Russian state award, the Pushkin Medal. According to him, the refusal of the Russian award would be an infantile act, and he could allow such a possibility only under the threat of death. Recall that it was Klaus who became the first Czech citizen to receive the Pushkin medal “for merits in bringing peoples closer together and preserving their cultural heritage.”
