Head of the Amur Region Vasily Orlov: “Transportation during the spring flood is under special control”

The Amur region is preparing for the spring flood. Road services have begun cleaning riverbeds and culverts from snow, ice and foreign objects. These measures, tailored to local hydrological and meteorological conditions, will help prevent flooding of roads and bridges during floods.

– For sections of the highways that fall into the flooding zone, specialists from the Ministry of Transport have developed schemes for bypass roads in case of emergency work. Mobile teams will be on duty around the clock. Transport communication during the spring flood is under special control.
