A person thought to be in his late 20s, who jumped from the Shibuya Scramble skyscraper in the Shibuya district, located in the heart of the giant metropolis and known for hosting the world’s most crowded pedestrian crossing, injured the young person he fell on.
According to the information obtained from police sources and eyewitnesses, the incident took place at around 17.20 yesterday evening. The person who jumped from the giant skyscraper called Shibuya Scramble struck a young girl walking on the road and injured her foot.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the person who threw a package down the escalator that went up to the 46th floor of the skyscraper, and then left himself in the void. The police did not share information about the package that the person threw down before his suicide.
