Lavrov told the UN Deputy Secretary General about the attempts of the West to speculate on humanitarian issues in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov , at a meeting with the Vice-Chairman of the United Nations (UN) for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths , raised the topic of politicization of the humanitarian sphere in Ukraine by Western countries.
“Unfortunately, attempts to politicize humanitarian issues and even speculate on them do not stop,” Lavrov stressed.
Recall that the UN Security Council did not adopt Russia’s humanitarian resolution calling for a negotiated ceasefire in Ukraine. It is reported that all members of the Security Council – except Russia and China – abstained.
