Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘s law on anti-crisis tax measures to support the economy in the face of anti-Russian sanctions. This is stated in a document published on the official portal of legal information .
The measures include exemption from personal income tax (PIT) on income in the form of material benefits and income on deposits in Russian banks in 2021-2023.
It also provides for a refund of value added tax (VAT) to taxpayers who are not in the process of reorganization or bankruptcy. The measure is declarative in nature.
In 2022-2024, a zero income tax rate is set for companies operating in the field of information technology.
The increased transport tax is now valid for owners of cars worth more than 10 million rubles. Previously, the so-called “luxury tax” applied to cars more expensive than 3 million rubles.
