Russia is using militant tactics to continue its aggression, accuses Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president has accused the mayor of Melitopol of being held hostage by Russia. He also alleged that the rate of evacuation of civilians from the city had decreased on Friday.

Jelensky said that despite all this, 7,144 people had been rescued.
He again called on Ukrainian citizens to build up resistance against Russian forces.
