The dollar exchange rate for the first time since March 1 fell below to 90 rubles, according to the Moscow Exchange.
During trading on Monday, March 28, the US currency was worth 89.85 rubles. As of 17:26 Moscow time, the dollar lost 4.9 rubles, reaching 91.1 rubles, and a few minutes later fell to 90.82 rubles.
At the same time, the euro exchange rate also fell – to 99.66 rubles.
As the kp.ru website wrote , on Monday, March 28, the Bank of Russia announced that retail clients of Russian banks can withdraw interest on foreign currency deposits during the period of restrictions on foreign exchange transactions in cash (until September 9, 2022) only in rubles.
Recall that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree banning the export of foreign currency in the amount of more than 10 thousand dollars .
