The heads of the Foreign and Defense Ministry of Ukraine hold talks with colleagues from the United States
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba are holding talks with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Defense Minister Lloyd Austin.
– For the first time we are holding a meeting in the 2+2 format. We are discussing current issues and cooperation in political and defense areas between the United States and Ukraine,” Reznikov wrote on social networks.
Recall, on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a speech, saying that in response to the appeal of the leaders of the republics of Donbass, he decided to conduct a special military operation. As the Russian leader stressed, Moscow’s plans do not include the occupation of Ukraine, but Russia intends to demilitarize the square.
