The White House has acknowledged that the United States has helped build a state-of-the-art biological and chemical weapons project in Ukraine. White House Press Secretary Jane Sackie made the remarks at a news conference Friday.
“Yes, we sent the materials needed for this project to Ukraine,” Saki told reporters. Because, we feared, Russia could launch sophisticated biological or chemical weapons attacks on Ukraine at any time.
Russian forces launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24; But over the past few years, Moscow has complained that the United States is helping Ukraine develop sophisticated biological and chemical weapons.
The Ukrainian government has ordered the immediate destruction of the laboratories following a recent Russian operation in the country, and Moscow’s suspicions are further strengthened.
On March 12, the Russian Defense Ministry released two documents in this regard. A review of those documents reveals that the United States has been financing Ukraine’s biological and chemical weapons projects since 2005.
Washington and Kiev, however, have always denied Moscow’s allegations; But after Russia unveiled the document, US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland acknowledged that Washington had funded the construction of a laboratory in Ukraine. However, Newland claimed that there was no research on biological weapons in those laboratories.
Finally, on Friday, Jane Saki made an accurate and complete confession in this regard.
