The news was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
The BBC writes that Hanna Malyar has stated that Kiev is already in the hands of the local army and that it has expelled the invading Russians.
“The whole region of Kiev has been liberated from the occupier,” Malyar said.
