Xavi can stay in Barcelona as long as he wants: Laporta
Within months of taking over as Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernandez has changed the face of the team. Holding his hand, he hinted at a good return to the Catalan club. So the club president Juan Laporta wants to keep him for a long time.

Former coach Ronald Kuman was sacked on 26 October following a series of failures at the club since the start of the season. Xavi replaced him on November 8.
The club legend did not have a good start in the Barcelona dugout. After taking charge, Barcelona left the group stage of the Champions League. However, Xavi did not hesitate to make his mark.
Barcelona started to return to its familiar form from the end of last January. The team has lost just one match in La Liga since taking over as coach. They have been unbeaten in Spain’s top league since December 4.
“I think Xavi can stay here as long as he wants. Since he knows the club very well and loves Barca, he can always clearly see how much he is contributing. As a player he has done it before the added benefit of being one of the best coaches out there is that they can quickly grasp their special time. ”
Xavi has won all possible club football titles in his 18-year career as a player for Barcelona. He left the Catalan club in 2015 and joined the Qatari club Al Saade. He ended his professional career in 2019 and became the coach of the team.
Xavi has won seven titles in two and a half years for Al Saad before joining Barcelona as a coach.
