The main gas pipeline “Yamal – Europe” has switched to work in reverse mode, according to the German operator Gascade.
It follows from this information that gas is no longer flowing from Poland to Germany, but in the opposite direction.
According to Gascade, the reverse began on April 2, 2022 at 8:00 Moscow time. In the first hour alone, Poland received 270,000 cubic meters of gas.
Recall that earlier Gascade reported that gas supplies through the Yamal-Europe pipeline through the German Malnov compressor station on March 29, 2022 fell to zero. Gascade clarified that before the specified time, the pumping was 1,451,155 kilowatt-hours.
As the kp.ru website wrote , the Russian Gazprom holding did not book transit capacities through the Yamal-Europe pipeline for pumping gas in April 2022, according to data from the RBP and GSA Platform platforms.
